VOLCANO ART CENTER VOLUNTEER WORKSince its founding by a group of passionate artists in 1974, the nonprofit Volcano Art Center on Kilauea has been welcoming new artists and works of all types. Along with showcasing the artwork of local artists, the center provides educational and entertainment programs for everyone, such as Ma mea Hula Kahiko performance. The Volcano Art Center makes it its mission to give locals, tourists and children the opportunity to develop their knowledge of both Hawaii and art.
