FREERICE VOLUNTEER WORK

Founded in 1961, the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) is the premier global organization working to end world hunger. They hope to achieve this in one decade from 2020, making use of the vast array of resources and dedicated workers and volunteers at their disposal. A wide variety of opportunities are made available on the website, from fully-fledged careers with the organization all the way down to the simple learning and volunteering game, Freerice. Each question that is answered correctly, be it testing your vocabulary, foreign language skills, or knowledge in history, translates to five grains of rice donated to the WPF's cause. These questions have added up to over 200 billion grains of rice over the years, and you can increase that number by joining the ranks!​
