SEA LIFE PARK VOLUNTEER WORK

Sea Life Park allows you to experience unique animal encounters and interactive opportunities. It’s also committed to research, protection, and preservation of the native marine species of Hawaii. Sea Life Park has many educational programs that educate visitors on the importance of ocean conservation and sustainability. It also provides rescue and rehab services for captive marine mammals. Sea Life Park runs in full compliance with the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture), AWA (Animal Welfare Act, and the requirements of NMFS (National Marine Fisheries Services with handling captive animals. Funds generated from Sea Life Park are used for marine research and educational programs. This organization helps greatly in pushing educational programs for all

You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.
Fill out the Volunteer Application to register as a volunteer.

Volunteer Requirements:

• ​Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Commit to a mutually agreed upon schedule
• Be comfortable with public speaking and getting wet (some areas)
• Commit to a minimum of 12 hours a month at the reef department or 8 hours at the other departments
• Attend an orientation meeting
