ADVO CATS VOLUNTEER WORKAdvoCATS’ main mission is to humanely maintain the population of stray cats and prevent the spread of feline diseases through the Trap-Neuter-Return program. Since 1999, AdvoCATS has been looking after unwanted cats all over the islands, discovering, neutering, and protecting feral colonies. They have a no-kill sanctuary on the Big Island, where concerned citizens are welcomed to bring in feral or stray cats.
AdvoCATS also works to find homes for their strays, as many ‘feral’ cats have been abandoned by their previous owners. AdvoCATS invites the public to assist in the protection of feral colonies, and encourages donations to their cause as to supply the cats with food, medical care, and equipment. |
