808 URBAN VOLUNTEER WORK

 808 Urban is a non-profit organization formed by collaboration between volunteers and artists, whose mission it is to bring better lives to Hawaii’s communities. In each piece of artwork that is presented through 808 Urban, artists express stellar innovation and inspire social change through grassroots culture. 808 Urban murals are located on every island, often in highly populated areas on big buildings or walls. With each mural made by 808 Urban, a new piece of cultural background is released into the community for society to learn about the Native Hawaiian culture.
