GROVE FARM MUSEUM VOLUNTEER WORK

Formerly a sugar plantation, the Grove Farm Museum takes you back in time to the 19th century, providing a genuine look at Kaui’s history in sugarcane. The one hundred acre homestead includes the original main house, owners’ cottage, guest cottage, old office, and a plantation workers’ house camp. Volunteers who enjoy telling stories and meeting others are welcome to volunteer as tour guides for the museum.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Volunteers are required to attend a training for six consecutive Tuesdays.
  • This training is intended to prepare volunteers to be useful.

Volunteer Expectations:

• Following the volunteer training, volunteers are expected to be able to give tours to museum visitors and answer any questions that they may have.
• Volunteers are expected to be knowledgeable and courteous.
