SALVATION ARMY VOLUNTEER WORKThe Salvation Army is an evangelical organization, part of the Universal Christian Church. Persuing their mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to those in need with no discrimination since 1865, they serve in 130 different countries. The Salvation Army assists nearly 23 million Americans, annually helping to meet their needs. This organization gives help to struggling disaster survivors, by providing shelter, serving veterans, assisting families, and much more. Others could help support their mission by donations of clothing, money, and time by fundraising.
