HUGS VOLUNTEER WORK

HUGS mission is to be a support to not only children who are facing fatal diseases, but to family members as well. When a child has a life threatening illness, there are many other lives that are affected. Often times, families undergo emotional, physical, and financial hardships. HUGS works to be a supporting hand to all members of the family through numerous types of group support programs and events to lessen the emotional strain on children and their families.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
You must be at least 15 years old to volunteer.

Volunteer Requirements:
Adult Volunteer (18 years and older)

• Adult Volunteer Application
• Volunteer Agreement and Release
• Provide medical documentation of TB clearance (negative PPD), MMR and Varicella immunizations.

Junior Volunteer (15 through 17 years old)

• Junior Volunteer Application
• Volunteer Agreement and Release
• Parental Consent for the Emergency Treatment of a Minor
• Junior Volunteer Application Confidential Questionnaire
• Provide medical documentation of TB clearance (negative PPD), MMR and Varicella immunizations.
