OAHU SPCA VOLUNTEER WORKThe Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is a no-kill shelter founded in 2009. Since they are a no-kill shelter, they refrain from euthanizing animals for normally accepted reasons such as lack of space or time. The Oahu SPCA also happens to not be affiliated with any national SPCA, meaning that donations are very much needed and welcome. Before you can start volunteering, you need to first attend their orientation that is held on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month on Tuesday and Saturday at 9:30 am. Also if you are under the age of 18 and are interested in volunteering, you need to have a parent/guardian with them at all times during the volunteer process. All they ask is for volunteers to please be able to commit to a minimum of one day a week for at least 3 hours for 3 months. With your support, Oahu SPCA can give animals their forever homes with a loving family.
