KAUAI FOREST BIRD RECOVERY PROJECT VOLUNTEER WORKKauai Forest Bird Recovery Project (KFBRP) aims to promote conservation, information, and appreciation of Kauai’s beautiful and unique forest birds. Many birds have gone extinct due to habitat loss, the introduction of avian malaria and other causes. Founded in 2003, Kauai's Forest Bird Recovery Project works to preserve the remaining species and their habitats. For more information, check out the box on the right.
