CORONACARE HAWAI'I VOLUNTEER WORKCoranacare Hawai‘i is 'a mutual aid network based on solidarity'. The organization aims to support individuals working to help keep each other's communities safe and offer aid to those who need it during the COVID-19 pandemic. A volunteer can work as a delivery driver, delivering food and supplies to new moms, kūpuna and the immunocompromised, or in other ways specifically catered to utilize the unique skills of the particular volunteer. Ways to volunteer include: deliveries, personal shopping, managing email queue, managing social media accounts, donations/bundling, kupuna care, food production/farming, sewing masks and other PPE, transportation, answering the phone hotline, organizing volunteers in your area, providing online community (Yoga classes, painting, keiki storytelling, etc.), houseless aid, Lā'au Lapa'au (Hawaiian medicine), and more.
