KO'OLAU MOUNTAINS WATERSHED PARTNERSHIP VOLUNTEER WORKFounded in 1999, Ko’olau Mountains Watershed Partnership mission has been to keep the forested expanses of the Ko’olau healthy and a quality source of water for the people of O’ahu. KMWP works to coordinate and perform critical forest management actions such as controlling the spread of invasive plants and animals across nearly 100,000 acres of partnership lands. The mitigation of threats to the integrity of the native forests is crucial to safeguard their freshwater resources into the future.
