Habitat Humanities’ vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. They seek to complete this through their mission. Desiring to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing through the construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of homes. With your help, they do this mainly by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
The Honolulu ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home accessories to the public. ReStore raises funds to support Habitat’s mission to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness, as well as to make decent, affordable shelter simple to obtain. Proceeds from sales at the Honolulu ReStore are used to build homes, communities, and most importantly hope for the people of O’ahu.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
​You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

You must register to be a volunteer and fill out the waiver. 
​------
Volunteer Requirements:

• You must sign the Liability Wavier, be prepared to work and lift heavy objects if able.
• If you are under 18 you must have a signed consent form.
• You will need closed toed shoes, and bring water bottles to keep hydrated during your shift and lunch/snacks if need be.
