MA'O FARMS VOLUNTEER WORKMa’o farms, a sort of farmers co-op located in Waianae on the island of Oahu, puts the knowledge accumulated by centuries of Hawaiians into practice. The organization offers a variety of outreach programs including youth internships, tours, community presentations and learning days. The project addresses problems such as food insecurity and works to empower their community, especially the youth, through meaningful methods of farming, caretaking the land.
