ALOHA HARVEST VOLUNTEER WORKAloha Harvest is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1999. Their mission is to collect unused food and deliver that excess food to people who need it. Not only does it help feed the hungry, but also helps with reducing Hawaii’s food waste. Over 150 agencies are assisting Aloha Harvest in fulfilling that mission. Non-profit agencies are invited to partner with Aloha Harvest and receive food to distribute to individuals in need of aid. Volunteers can help Aloha Harvest by giving food, funding, or their time.
