AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY VOLUNTEER WORKThe American Cancer Society’s goal is to rid the world of cancer. This organization is looking for funding to conduct research as well as volunteers to help out, and these two critical components help make their mission possible. Their hope lodges, including one in Honolulu, provide a home-like environment for cancer patients and their caregivers. ACS is looking for volunteers that have a flexible schedule and a desire to make a meaningful difference in their community. They are not only looking for volunteers to help patients, but people that know how to make them smile. Whether it be by hosting a game night, singing, or making the most of the moments in between, ACS needs you.
